There is this clause I have found quite axiomatic and evergreen to suit any discerning idiocy of a man to note. It says "when a man chooses to be stupid, it should not be out of place to make him slip into foolishness". Then it would become the best of vicarious experience to give him the mind of his self illusion in clarity. It comes to fore that after evaluating a supposed rejoinder to
opinion
published a while a back, one would not be surprised that a certain entity called Taiwo Lasisi (aka Apon) in cahoots with his bound of gangs would come out to make a shame of half education for a play to the gallery of Alimosho progressives clan. Honestly, it's a serious misadventure they have taken.
It really begged the question:
Ki la wi, ki ni won n so? And when a question like this is to be asked about any man, it is a call for mental check. This is because it takes a sound mind to coordinate one's brain with his utterances, especially one to flow from understanding and interpretation in context of communications -- written or verbal. That is why writing is not a job of all comers. And just as my good friend, aka
Alasingaporialistically Benbestical would always apt to caution: "
Eda to ba soro ni igba ti ko ye, awon Yoruba so wipe o ya apa oro ni. Literally to mean when a man speaks to an issue at a time he's not supposed to do, he is a loose talker.
FOR COM OKE'S REJOINDER
Before dwelling into details of this repartee, let us first acknowledge that there are two parts of the rejoinder, of course, made in deliberate coordinated assaults aimed for a demoralising impact on the sensibility of the author. But they have literally come to the den of lion bearing a lamp to look it in the eyes. The second one is made to have been made a personal response by Com M.O. Oke, the subject of the originating story. But before addressing his own in detail later, let me remind him of this Yoruba axiom:

Accordingly it should be easy for you to know that I wrote out of personal solid conscience of a social writer bearing in mind the general interests of APC members suffering untold hardships and in the interest of the coming general elections. I did not write my message as your hagiographer. You should have waited to see how I write about your potential alternatives in Hon Mutiu Adebiyi and Alhaj Awulat Omoboriowo before your spider men caused you to jump gun.
It would have been a different case here if the author did not know you have acted under the influence of toxins of your poisonous spiders you parade as political mentees. You called me to enquire about the article. As you acknowledged it, I told you it was my opinion. But go back to the rejoinder written for you by your toxic spider to personally evaluate it if you are justified to append your insignia in that message without tact.To professional communicators, every word in a sentence Carries its own meaning. Hence your wrong use of "
purported" in your rejoinder as if the author falsely claimed you are the new APC LGA Chairman.
SIFTING SHAFTS FROM GRAINS IN THE NUMEROUS REJOINDERS
Interestingly, the originating article by the writer clearly made its position known to the open public in paragraph 6 with the clause: "
This offer of opinion". One would therefore wonder where the whole gamut had suggested an assertive choice of "Justice Forum" the Lasisi brought to play. Thus again,
ki la wi, ki lo n so?
Compare his rants to another rejoinder from someone else here quoted verbatim:
"Good opinion But Egbe-Idimu Party Chairman is not coming from Local Government Chairman's Justice Forum, it's between Bisi or Enny's group"_ Common sense would tell of this as a flow from a matured mind with organic education in identifying operative words in a sentence.
FACTS OF THE ISSUE
On August 9, 2026, a piece was published online in the Civics Weekly. Without mincing words, the title speaks to the issue of intent. It says:
Just Before the Minutes of Final Decision: A Motion for the Right APC LGA Chairman for Egbe-Idimu. In unambiguous context, the story acknowledged the recent strides of the Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Local Council to entrebch harmony and peace by unifying the factional divides of the party that had lingered for long.
As an adept reader of politics and in line with ethics of a good writer, the author observed that for peace building embarked upon by the Executive Chairman to last enduringly, he would need a good and "matured" mind to work with as the Party Chairman. The article said:
"
It flows from here that the search for holistic harmony for Egbe-Idimu chapter of the APC is just at incipient. And it should begin with the search for the right personality to occupy the seat of LGA Party Chairman... The succour that came now out of the boldness of the head of government, Prince Balogun, in taking precise decisions to redefine and distinguish merit from mediocrity that had run riot in sustaining the lingering disunity should not be allowed to wane. To prevent this and to make the new found peace enduring is to bring forth an established expertise in human relations with complementary flair for conflict management to the head of party administration too for the right synergy to work hand in gloves."
The author went further to analyse the personal innate qualities that would be needed in the person to choose. It says further:
"
This Party Chairman should be one with flair for intuitive capacity for efficient reconciliation of factional divides, and presentable with savvy in procedural arbitration imperatives as an when necessary. It also demands of a personality with a heart of compassion and generosity desirable for equity and balance of justice in matters of partisan interest. This is because of the inevitable factional divides he's bound to inherit. Efforts to do justice in this regard shall surely dominate the challenge of his/her integrity on daily basis".
Accordingly, the author concluded that making this choice should not be wholly underscored by motive of factional preferences, but the merit of outlook for victory in the 2027 General elections. "
All these requirements that transcend partisan leadership motive, also go beyond the convention of power sharing if the mission is to build and improve the morale, esteem and vibrancy of the party's hoi polloi and encourage them to put in their best into the coming general elections", he said.
Sequel to that, the author intended to run a serial of profiles of the following people in order of their suitability for the job out of the knowledge on ground:
Com Oke Olanrewaju, Hon Mutiu Adebiyi, Alhaja Awulat, and Alhaji Akibu Soliu.

AND THE POISONOUS SPIDERS COME OUT
Just a few minutes after the publication, Com Oke called to enquire: "Dr. where did you get that story you wrote?"
Author: "Have you read it sir?"
Com Oke: "No!"
Author: "Oga, I know where you are coming from. But go and read it first. It is purely my opinion".
Com Oke: Okay, call Alhaji (Fetuga) now to tell him?"
Few seconds later the next call came in. It was Alhaji Fetuga's voice of anger. "Dr. what rubbish did you write in your papers today?"
Author: Alhaji, have you read it?
Alhaji: "No!" then, a conversation followed.
Instantly, it became clearer that both of them have flown off the handle on winds of gullible thrust. So unfortunate. The conclusion the author would draw thence was that their spiders have come out to spread their poisonous webs. The starting of the intended serials with Com Oke would be an incense to smoke these Egbe-Idimu 'Spiders out of their ancient caves. To put it succinctly, 70% of the crises bedevelling Egbe-Idimu from the start since this dispensation from 2022 are caused by these poisonous spiders spreading their webs of disunity across the progressives landscape. By their trade in what the Yoruba would describe as "
Aso'run iwaju po mo t'ipako", they have caused trauma of the mind for a number of party faithful through the troubles they often create in servitude of some vested interest and in their own devilish interest the Yoruba call "
Afe'ru gba'bukun.
Without doubt, the mischief they intended by their latest convention of destructive endeavours is to pacify their troubled souls that the author would innocently praise Oluomo Kaafata for his humility to take the courageous and bold initiatives to bring peace to the LCDA. It also troubled their souls that the author would also describe the fact of Enilolobo's feat of resilience in staying the course of his leadership place in Alimosho inspite of all odds against him.
"I here speak to all leaders concerned, especially our greatest and resilient leader -- the strongest in political pugilism with enduring capacity -- Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo", the author so wrote. If truth were to be a furious bullet, this should rather hit the spiders to heal them of their nefarious way of life. It is nevertheless all the best that it yet hit them to kill their poisonous souls. If not, how would they have committed their blundering rejoinder that here invokes their exposure. After all,
Jeje l'omo Olorun n lo, plying his trade. Thus, their attempt to call the author a bad name becoming a backlash for them.
As former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Chief Bisi Akande severally observed out of their personal experience in politics: "
The most dangerous people to avoid in politics are those that have no other jobs for a living other than politics. They can do anything to sustain their relevance" -- most especially when their low education pedigree continues to intuitively point to their rightful low place in the pecking order. This brings us to their subject of jaundiced mind by which they ply their trade this time:
PUTTING THE AUTHOR'S MEMBERSHIP OF JUSTICE FORUM IN PERSPECTIVE
As Yoruba would say:
Omo atiro to lo ra bata gogoro wale fun Iya e, oro lo fe gbo. It goes for fact that Egbe-Idimu Justice Forum are of two types, not necessarily to say factions: there is the Justice Forum of the Poisonous Spiders, led by the Taiwo Lasisi and the the other substanstive Justice Forum of our mother, Her Excellency, Adejoke Orelope Adefulire (OFR) under the guard of Prince Idris Balogun. Thus for tha fact of their claims, the author does not belong to the former but the latter. And to burst Lasisi's brain in matter of fact, the author in his quest for a lasting peace in Alimosho belongs to JF+TM+Datiemo (JTD)=APC as should be demanded of the ethics and values of his professional calling. It should make the joy of JF faithful in Egbe-Idimu that for the firm resolve of Oluomo Kaafata, the Crown Prince of Isheri Olofin to establish his leadership place, there is a greater hope for total redemption of Justice Forum from the grips of Taiwo Lasisi's Spider faction. As Yoruba would say:

The Justice Forum of the Poisonous Spiders is one in which Taiwo Lasisi runs as a family business. It is a one-man show in which he, Apon, embodies in himself the functions of 27-member LGA Executive and those of the five ward chairmen. The author, a former ASM LGA Organising Secretary called it a quit in that executive body when it became clear that he could not be reined in by leaders after several complaints against his aberrations of one-man do all.
It was the reason he almost succeeded in his attempt to confiscate the author's N5,000 due of the JF outings to Tafawa Balewa for the TRN Network programme in February. Persistence of the author to prevent him from sitting over the N5,000 by standing on Alhaji Fetuga's neck made him to release the money just this past Saturday, Agust 7, 2026 -- seven months after the money was released to him in Fedruary. Apon is one adept at scheming to score overbearing goal over his leaders.
