SANWO-OLU, OJELABI TO GRACE THE COMMISSIONING AS NEW ABARANJE SECONDARY SCHOOL TAKES SHAPE FOR DECEMBER DELIVERY DATE

BUTCHERS ASSOCIATION ADDS ITS VOICE IN CLAMOUR FOR HON KEHINDE JOSEPH TO RUN FOR RE-ELECTION
Story by Ololade Barakat
Civics weekly can now authoritatively confirm that the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, is being expected to lead officials of state functionaries to the official commission of the historical Abaranje Secondary school. It is 'historical' in the conclusion of analysts for being a first public school to be built and wholly financed by a private individual, at least in the history of the territorial jurisdiction called the Lagos West Senatorial District.
Honourable Kehinde Olaide Joseph, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency 02 personally conceived the idea and solely wholly finances the building of "Abaranje Comprehensive High School" in his individual privacy with a mission to sustain the legacy of neighbourhood accessibility to education by every Nigerian child as enshrined in the progressives ideology officially laid down by Chief Obafemi Awolowo in the Southwest Nigeria.
Amidst this show of personal innate compassion going alongside his many acts of governance functions that is opening up the entire southern extremities of Alimosho Federal Constituency, the members of Butchers Association of Nigeria, Igando/Ikotun Chapter in Alimosho Federal Constituency have added their voices in the clamour for Hon Kehinde Joseph to come out for another re-election in 2027 in order to continue their representation in the State Assembly.
The project's delivery date set by the financier is end of this December and Civics Weekly has taken it upon itself to continue the monitoring for updates. At the last visit to the site this past Thursday, the setting of blocks is expected to begin anytime soon after the beams of the First Floor have been erected for the roofing. "The leanted base for the roofing at the first floor cannot come until completion of the block setting to the window stage. And given the right quantity of workmen on this, it could even be completed in less than ten days. This is to say these two stages of block setting could be completed within a time frame of 15days", the experts said in their consensus of opinions.
The Chairman, Butchers Association of Nigeria, Igando/Ikotun LCDA Chapter, Mr. Akanbi Gbolahan, explains how Hon Joseph opened up Okerube
However, while the project is to be completed on schedule, going by the resolute vows of Hon Joseph and in estimate of the pace of works, the information gathered by this magazine revealed that the official commissioning of the school would likely happen only within the first quarter of next year on a date that could possibly come in early January. "This is because it has been scheduled that Governor Sanwo-Olu has shown interest to personally commission the project", a source close to the Government House told Civics Weekly.
In a direct enquiry to veracity of this, Hon Kehinde Joseph confirmed his knowledge of the Governor's willingness to personally commission the project. "I can confirm that Mr. Governor is favourably dispose to our request of that from him and we are quite delighted about it", he said.
It is also hopeful that the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Apostle Cornelius Ojelabi will also lead party members of State Working Committee to grace the occasion. It may be recalled that Civics Weekly once reported exclusively that the Governor appeared to be so enthusiastic about Hon Joseph's kind gesture, a reason for which he reportedly signed approval for construction of the school's laboratory part without any delay.

In a related development in matters of the people's appreciation of the Honourable, the members of Butchers' Association of Nigeria, Igando/Ikotun LCDA Chapter have called on Kehinde Joseph to get set for the continued representation of Alimosho Constituency 02, adding that they have started their undergrpun6 works to ensure his re-election in the coming general elections in 2027. This was the statement of the Chairman, Comrade Akanbi Gbolahan in an interaction he had with Civics Weekly this past week.
He said they knew the Honourable to be an upright person who should deserve the support of everyone because of his immense contributions to the rapid development of Abaranje/Okerube. They described him as a unique politician they knew to have been engaging in "selfless service" since they knew him over six years back over the hardship they were facing in their Abbirtoir settlement in Okerube extremity. HERE HIM IN THIS VIDEO CLIP This clip is worth taking for a testimonial to an earlier publication of Hon Joseph's story of how he facilitated the Abaranje/Okerube Road over a proposal to establish a new large Abbirtoir in Alimosho.
