The wife of Nigerian President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has urged parents and residents of Abaranje Town in Alimosho, Ĺagos, to take ownership of the newly built first ever Public Secondary School named after her and commissioned on Saturday. She said it was necessary to preserve the value purpose of the new opportunity they got for generations to come. This advice came as the Lagos State Governor, reiterated the resolve of his government to continue the pursuit of education policies that would equip the young ones with skilful minds to afford them in competitive engagements at the global level. He described the ceremony as something "beyond ribbon-cutting", but the making of history in Alimosho and Lagos at large.
The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly said the donor of the school, Hon Kehinde Olaide Joseph, was one of their best in the House and urged Alimosho residents to support his return to the Assembly because they were yet to get the optimum of representative values the Honourable had in stock for them.
All this made the highlight of speeches and events at the handing over of a storey block of sixteen classrooms, solely conceived, solely financed and solely built by Hon Kehinde Olaide Joeph, representing Alimosho Constituency 02, to the public. The ceremony which set Abaranje agog with Kampala carnival-like gathering brought together heavy weight All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains and government officials from across the state to the sleepy town and woke it up to momentary vibrancy.

In her speech given through Hon Alawiye-King, Senator Tinubu said she had four reasons to appreciate the feat Hon Kehinde Joseph had achieved with the building of the school. This, according to her, was because she knew the story behind the school. She said she had been a legislator herself to know enough about sources of funds to individual legislator. "And when I asked Mr Speaker if there was any special grants for members of Lagos Assembly in the recent time, he said there was none. Given this, I can understand the tremendous goodwill of divine grace Hon Joseph must have had to achieve this", she said.
She went further to explain that by building the school, Hon Joseph had entered his name in the global register of those who have contributed towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)4 which is all about education for human capital development.
She thereafter moved to commission the building, a rite performed on her behalf by Alawiye-King
