"MY 100DAYS IN OFFICE WILL SHAKE GROUND WITH ACHIEVEMENTS" -- PRINCE BALOGUN
Story by Mariam Jimoh
The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the coming local government elections in Egbe-Idimu LCDA has reiterated his plan to mark a significant milage in his 100Days in office. Prince Idris Balogun made this reaffirmation at the stakeholders engagement of his party leaders at Samkol Garden in Alake Area of Idimu yesterday.
Those in attendance as the audience included representatives of different institutional bodies such as artisans of different trades, leadership of religious bodies, members of quasi security organisations, members of community development associations and such others.
Fondly called Oluomo Kaafata by admirals, the Crown Prince of Isheri Olofin said he had to repeat his set vision of Egbe-Idimu at his 100th Day in office to emphasise that he was coming to the office to hit the ground running. He had earlier revealed this at the opening of his party's campaign train held last week Thursday in Idimu. He said he would not be a chairman that would begin to search for what next to do after taking office. "I will shake ground with service delivery in my 100Days in office", he declared.
He said: "I am set to do the job. I am coming to the office of Chairman fully prepared for the people of Egbe-Idimu before I declared my ambition to you. I have marshalled my plans before I applied for this job. I was convinced that I have what it takes to govern the council and take it to a new level of development".
