COP'24 EVENT IS FOR ALL LOVERS OF HER EXCELLENCY TO SEE THROUGH THE SUCCESS OF COP'24 EVENT' -- Prince Idris Balogun

Prince Idris Balogun has said he only contributed his own "widow's mite" to the value purpose of COP'24 event as endowment inspirational programme in honour of the Leader of Alimosho, Her Excellency, Dr. (Princess) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire (OFR), former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, who is currently the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SSAP-SDG). He added that while on his part he is set to ensure that this inaugural phase of the programme brings forth the anticipated honour and glory to Her Excellency through the fulfilment of participants in their short stay of visit to Alimosho in "the name of Joke Orelope", it is expected of all lovers of Mama to rise to this August occasion.
He made this statement after his declarative endorsement of COP'24 as a programme that must have it's date on December 12, 2024. To walk his talk, he picked the bill for the cost of event hall.
He said: "I understand that the organizers have made wide consultations with the relevant stakeholders within and outside politics in Alimosho. It is as much how they reached me to get me onboard. I should therefore say we should all hold it a duty for all Alimosho to rise up to this occasion for grooming our future leaders.
"I have only contributed my own widow's mite by taking responsibility for the cost of event hall. That is not to say that my contribution will end there. It is nevertheless necessary for all her followers to ensure the success."
A lot is expected to be involved in a programme that is set to host 1,000 students and about 500 teachers as guests from across all corners of Lagos State. This is outside expected guests from the locals.The event is set for a date less than five days from now at Emporium Event Centre in Isheri Olofin corridor of Alimosho.
