VOICE OF ENVY IN THE DIATRIBE OF APOSTLE YOMI TAIWO OVER FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS FACILITATED BY JOKE ORELOPE

We may think it a malicious script. It will still not be far from truth. Yet, it is all the same a truth that it was only the limit of his view that made the missive. I speak to the Apostle Yomi Taiwo's recent epistle on the series of Federal Appointments for some members of Alimosho Progressives unarguably known to have been facilitated by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDG), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire (OFR).

Amidst the fanfare and joy of the recent last of it, which came to the Crown Prince of Isheri Olofin Kingdom, Idris Balogun (aka Oluomo Kaafata), the Apostle's seeming voice of the envy bursted in as a scribe of article entitled "Media Riddles: Unraveling the Intrigues Surrounding Olulmo's Senate President Adviser Position". In context, his message which appeared to have passed unnoticed on a popular politicians' secial media, raised critical issue of favouritism and tribal nepotism against the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State.

He said: "Upon reflection, the recently secured positions seem to stem from the former Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope's private camp involving blood relations". He referred to the Awori nexus of Balogun to Joke. To him this was a leadership style his own leader never practiced. "The legacy of Alhaji Ayinde Enilolobo contrasts this as he never favoured his blood relations for positions", hte compared.

It was in the light of this one could see graphics of irrationality to address in order to put things in the right perspective. In actual fact, any one bubbling with the knowledge of fact could be tempted to speak out of tongue because of the malicious fallacy his comparison did not pretend to. But in keeping with the gospel of peace Joke Orel6has adopted as the cultural philosophy of her leadership era, to dwell on the Apostle's false claim might become a striking of mud, the splash of which might stain his own leader. Therefore, this piece would wish to limit itself to the unprecedented advancements Alimosho progressives have made within a short while of Joke's Apex leadership by these appointments.

In another angle of the Appostle's story, which shall not be left out unaddressed and will come first, he condemned Oluomo's appointment as one that the absence of a newspaper publication confirming it should suffice to rock with aspersions of question mark. As such, he found it amusing whatever could be the significance of such appointment. Ironically, one might be tempted to assume this rather as a symbolic self tagging with insignia of a lowbrow extreme of a matured ignorant. Even if this was not deliberately intended for mischief, the surface meaning of the message readily invest the author with a backlash of shallow reasoning to think media reportage should be all in all conferred with the absolute right for authenticating history. TDoes that mean, by this distorted view, that even if a newspaper publication is fake, the information passed by that should be deemed real howsoever?

But Idris Balogun would seem a generous man to have saved him from his needless adventure into "unraveling" none existing "intrigues" making his distraught. Thus on platter of gold, he offered a direct sight of the appointment letter. In matters of malicious provocations with malignant fallacy like this, Yoruba would aptly draw from their pouch of wisdom to say: ore bonire yo ki tie na le de - Rejoice with the blessed that ye shall receive yours.

If the Apostle ha been in tune with the oxymoron of silent loud workings of Her Excellency, Adejoke Orelope Adefulire (OFR) in the past few days back, he would gladly appreciate her for giving a new definition to what it means to take courage to aspire for public office. To bring him abreast of them, it was only a couple of days back that Ahmed Oseni and Muyideen Adewale (aka MD) got their appointments as Legislative Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Who were these two in stakeholdership of this past general elections. Muyideen was an aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Alimosho Constituency 01. Oseni was earlier a victim of political robbery that denied him the benefits of his victory to be sworn in as the Executive Chairman of Igando/Ikotun LCDA on the eve of his inauguration day out of nothing but the egomaniac idosyncracy of no other person than the leadership Apostle seeks to venerate and compare with the Joke's era.

Now juxtaposed the Oseni and Muyideen appointments with this Balogun's in the senate Presidency on the same pedestal of political knowledge of Oluomo as a former aspirant to the House of Representatives in the past 2023 elections. What trend would one see? An emerging trend of compensating those made election times vibrant for the party through their aspirations.

On this clarity, therefore, would the man of God in his true conscience yet want to grandstand on accusations of ethnic nepotism against Joke Orelope?
