EGBE-IDIMU LCDA TO GET MICRO FINANCE BANK AS PRINCE BALOGUN DECLARES ASPIRATION FOR COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

The Crown Prince of Isheri Olofin, Idris Balogun (aka Oluomo Kafata), has promised to establish a microfinance bank for the residents of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area in order to facilitate the growth of business environments. He made this declaration before a mamoth crowd of party faithful on Tuesday evening at the White Royal Hotel in Isheri Olofin, Alimosho Local Government. Besides this, according to him, he would also establish a special pool of funds that would be managed in a manner that no less 200 people would benefit from his monthly business capital grant from his administration sustainably.
He said his goal, if voted in, was to ensure adequate empowerment of the people in a manner that no shark money lending bank would be able to survive in Egbe-Idimu except those that would be ready to operate with the cause of humanity.
In the area of health, he said a special system would be put in place for a total free health package for all ailment classified under Primary Health Care in Lagos. "There will be special card which will qualify a patient for free drugs at our health centres", he said. Speaking on infrastructure development, he said he would embark upon "Operation Light Up Egbe-Idimu". Explaining this, he said all the streets in the LCDA would get streets light along with massive road construction he would embark upon by hitting the ground running.
In education, he said he had realized that students of secondary school level had there schools mostly far away from their residents. Therefore, the "School Shuttle Bus" would get priority attention while the free transportation system for workers would also be expanded. It may be noted that this free transportation system is something he had embarked upon over a year back since the Federal Government declared the policy of fuel deregulation in the first week of last year.
